Sharon Andrade has been appointed Vice President of Sales at Staypineapple Hotels Inc.
Andrade is responsible for the development of the sales organization in her new role at Staypineapple. Her focus will be on training and deployment of sales talent to maintain strong customer relationships as well as represent and position Staypineapple Hotels as a top choice for group and business travel buyers in key markets. Andrade joined Staypineapple in 2017 with 30 years of sales leadership in the hospitality, travel, leadership and organizational development industries. She has served as the senior vice president of sales for the Red Lion Hotel corporation, area director of sales and marketing for Seattle Hilton Worldwide and as the director of business development for the Effectiveness Institute. During her time at Hilton Worldwide, Andrade received the Area Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year Award. Andrade earned her Bachelor of Science in Organizational and Mass Communications from Eastern Washington University and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association. Andrade has resided in West Seattle with her two daughters Jacqueline, now a pre-med major at the University of Redlands and Kaitlin, who plans to pursue a career in business or hospitality as a freshman at the University of Washington. Both daughters completed the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism in high school and have worked in the industry as a result.
