With a customer service focus, Rivers led the 204 room property and North 26 Restaurant and Bar to produce an annual revenue of over $23 million, be a four-time AAA Four Diamond Recipient from 2012-2016 and Meetings & Convention Hotel of the Year and Guest Satisfaction Hotel of the Year, both in 2015. Previously, Rivers was the general manager at the Millennium Hotel Minneapolis for ten years and oversaw, both The Bostonian and Millennium Hotel Minneapolis from 2011-2013, before moving back to Boston full-time in 2013. While in the Midwest, Rivers led a $22.3 million dollar property renovation – participating in the redesign, ADA review, group relocation, staff and union transitions, Project Account and CO and FRX Review – which led to an annual revenue production of over $18 million and ranked #3 in overall customer satisfaction. Rivers is a Board Member with AccesSportAmerica, a not-for-profit organization which inspires higher function and fitness for children and adults of all disabilities through high-challenge sports and training.
