Guillaume MoranceGuillaume Morance has been named Executive Chef of the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. In his new position, he is responsible for the “Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All Compare” resort’s five restaurants, three of which are AAA Four Diamond rated; poolside snack bar; casual all day dining option, and the catering operation of the 267 all suite luxury resort. The appointment is effective immediately. With over 22 years in the kitchen, Morance has served in some of the best hotels and restaurants in leading world capitals such as Paris, New York, Saint Petersburg and Moscow. In 2001, he opened his own international cuisine restaurant, Bistro 21, in Michoacán, Mexico. Being a chef has given Morance the opportunity to travel and learn about the gastronomic specialties of other countries which has helped him form his own culinary style. He is drawn to simple cuisine where the ingredient is the star. He enjoys creating emotions, which combined with excellent customer service, not only satisfy the palate but also each person’s heart.
