Gad joined the 210-room hotel in 2009 as guest service agent and became the property's night manager after two years. He advanced to the position of assistant front office manager in 2014.
As front office manager, Gad is responsible for leading the teams of front desk, guest relations, telephone operators, bell service and transportation, with an emphasis on further talent development of front office colleagues, improving guest satisfaction results and incremental revenue generation.
An Egyptian national, Gad holds a bachelor's degree of commerce and business administration from Cairo University.
Copthorne Hotel Dubai, located in Deira's Port Saeed, embarked on a AED 1 million refurbishment programme beginning in October this year, encompassing its gym, health club and Gazebo Terrace.
