Douglas Nysse has been appointed Vice President of Development at White Lodging
White Lodging is pleased to announce that Doug Nysse has joined White Lodging as its new VP of Development. Nysse joins White Lodging from Arrival Partners where he served as lead development executive of numerous premium-branded hotels over the last five years, most recently The Westin Milwaukee. The hotel opened in June and was named as Marriott International's Full Service Development of the Year. Prior to that, Nysse was a Principal at Kahler Slater for 17 years where he formed and led the hospitality team working on award-winning urban developments, destination resorts and university hotels. Working in close collaboration with the company's development and project management team, Nysse will lead and be responsible for executing White Lodging's strategic development and growth plan, including real estate acquisition/entitlements, pre-construction and site/franchise related approvals. White Lodging's development pipeline totals over $1.1 billion in total investment including 12 newly constructed premium branded hotels that will be opening over the next 36 months.
