Claudio CapaccioliH Hotels & Resorts Management has appointed Claudio Capaccioli as its new chief executive officer to oversee the company’s existing portfolio of six properties and its further development into the hospitality industry. Originally from Italy, Capaccioli has spent the past 11 years with the NH Hotel Group based in Madrid, Spain. He joined the company as director of development and analysis for Italy in 2006 and progressed through the company to the senior VP of development in 2012 where he was responsible for the global development of the company. Throughout his tenure he was directly involved in several mergers & acquisitions transactions as well as in the negotiation of over 200 hotels and in the sale of properties. Prior to this, he worked for a number of notable companies including Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Andersen / Deloitte & Touche in Italy, Aramark Inc. in both the USA and the UK and at Costa Cruises in Italy.His international education includes a degree in Business Administration from the University of Perugia, Italy and an MBA from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in the USA where he graduated in 2001. Later, he took an Advanced Management Programme in 2014 at the IESE Business School in Spain.
