Blair Mcsheffrey has been appointed Vice President of Global & Hotel Sales at Sonesta International Hotels Corporation
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation today announced the appointment of Blair McSheffrey as Vice President of Global & Hotel Sales. In this role, McSheffrey will be responsible for the management of sales resources and investments, oversight of all sales management functions and the development of the people, processes and systems that maximize sales and revenue for Sonesta. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer, Carlos Flores. McSheffrey is an accomplished hotel sales leader with a recognized global record of accomplishment of sustained success domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Sonesta, he served as the Vice President, Hotel Commercial Performance at InterContinental Hotels Group. While at IHG, McSheffrey directed all hotel level sales, marketing and revenue management teams for their franchised and managed properties in the Americas. He spent more than 14 years working with IHG where he served in several senior sales leadership roles including running the sales and revenue operation for IHG's China estate and developing IHG's sales infrastructure in its Global Sales operation. Prior to IHG, he worked at Davidson Hotel Group as a Director of Sales & Marketing.McSheffrey earned a degree in Hospitality Management from Loyalist College in Belleville, ON, Canada. He speaks English, French (conversationally) and can navigate basic Mandarin. He will be relocating to Boston from the Atlanta area with his family.
