Philip Yi

Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed Philip Yi as VP of digital commerce and corporate strategy, overseeing all e-commerce efforts for the brand.

As technology continues to play an important role in the hospitality industry, the newly created position at Omni affords Yi the opportunity to further develop the company"s overall digital strategy. Yi is responsible for the website as well as digital marketing and will work with senior leadership on other strategic initiatives to improve day-to-day business.

Prior to joining Omni, Yi served as the head of omnichannel strategy, business development and analytics for JCPenney Inc. where he led growth strategy, strategic initiatives and partnerships for the brand"s digital commerce business. He also previously served as VP of e-commerce and strategy for fashion brand Sid and Ann Mashburn during a high-growth period, and worked with McKinsey & Company as a management consultant.
