Erik Rowen

McKibbon Hospitality is pleased to announce the promotion of Erik Rowen to President of Development and Renovation Services. In his new role, Rowen will be responsible for McKibbon Hospitality"s development and renovation services divisions and will focus on third-party development opportunities. A registered architect who joined McKibbon Hospitality in 2003 as a Project Manager, Rowen most recently served as Vice President of Development.

Under Rowen"s leadership, McKibbon"s development and renovation services teams will be more closely aligned, allowing the company to better leverage resources, relationships, and scale to provide value for customers. His teams will also be well-positioned to pursue new third-party development opportunities by building on decades of experience and industry relationships with contractors, vendors and franchisers.

During his career with McKibbon, Rowen has supported the development of more than 30 projects. He has been recognized for developing award-winning hotels in Little Rock, Arkansas; Greenville, South Carolina; and Pensacola, Tallahassee and Tampa, Florida. Over the course of his career, Rowen has supported the successful development of half a billion dollars in developed projects. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from Georgia State University. Rowen is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the past president of the Association of Real Estate Alumni at Georgia State University.

McKibbon Hospitality is currently developing the AC Hotel and Residence Inn Charlotte City Center; Hotel Arras and the Arras Residences in Asheville, NC; and the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead.
