Hasan Barakat has been appointed director of sales & marketing at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama
The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain has appointed Hasan Barakat as the new director of sales & marketing for the property.
Barakat, a British-Jordanian national, has had extensive experience in sales & marketing in five-star hotel properties across the Middle East and Europe. His recent positions was group director of sales and marketing for a hospitality operator in the region.
The hotel's general manager Kosta Kourotsidis said in a statement: "Hasan joined at the right time, as we are under a massive renovation of all our guest bedrooms and the hotel lobby. I am sure we will benefit from his experience to market and correctly position our upgraded property."
Barakat has previously worked with hotel groups including Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, Hilton, and Marriott International.
