Petr Dubsky

Petr's journey with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group started in August 2008 at the Radisson Blu Royal Dublin in Ireland where he was selected as a Bar Manager. Petr chose Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group because it "offers a great opportunity to develop within and focuses on talents to strengthen the company globally". Since his first day he believed he could grow within the company, support it to grow and deliver results.

Petr is a graduate from the Rezidor Mentee Program under the guidance and mentoring of Panos Panagis, General Manager of the Hormuz Grand Hotel in Muscat and District Director for Oman. Petr also has a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University.

Petr is known for making Every Moment Matter for our guests and he consistently believes, empowers and gives his colleagues the opportunity to take decisions. He believes this is how motivation and a strong team is built, which eventually reflects on our main objective: our guest, clients and all stakeholders. Petr's service philosophy is that our employees are our asset and we must focus on them in order to deliver far and beyond guest expectations. He also states that "hospitality is like an opera performance, if one is not performing, the whole orchestra is failing and needs to be fine-tuned". Petr's advice to anyone considering a career as a Hotel Manager is to "take as much as possible from your mentors, be dedicated to your goal and be passionate. Keep going when circumstances are difficult, don't give up."
