Jennifer Colvin

Greystone Hotels, an independent hotel and hospitality management company, appointed Jennifer Colvin as its new corporate director of human resources. Colvin has more than 12 years of human resources experience in the hospitality industry, bringing to Greystone Hotels an expertise centered around the constant improvement of company culture, employee retention and brand-wide operations and initiatives. Eric Horodas, president of Greystone Hotels, made the announcement.

Colvin's experience includes past work as director of human resources for Hilton Worldwide Hotels, area director of people and culture at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants and most recently corporate director of human resources at Kaizen Dining Group. Colvin received the Circle of Excellence Award from Hilton Worldwide during her five-year tenure on staff.

Born and raised in Saint Louis, Mo., Colvin received her bachelor of science in recreation management from Culver-Stockton College, and later graduated from Penn State University with a master's degree in human resources management. Colvin has since earned several professional certifications from both the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society of Human Resources. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the San Francisco Giants, traveling to Disneyland, and playing with her three pet parrots.
