Grant Lessard

Grant Lessard has been named director of Well & Being Spa, an award-winning, 44,000 square-foot resort spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. He is also a member of the resort's Executive Committee.

A collaborative hire between Well & Being's spa management company Trilogy Spa Holdings and the Fairmont executive team, Lessard joins the Fairmont Scottsdale as a seasoned professional in the industry, with 30 years of experience in spa management. In this new role Lessard will oversee daily spa operations, working with the resort management team to provide a seamless guest experience while implementing marketing strategies and promotional activities that boosts membership among locals. Lessard will also work with the Well & Being brand team to integrate regular menu and programming updates that evolve with wellness trends. As the spa director, Lessard will be responsible for providing hands-on employee training, drawing upon his tactical background in clinical massage therapy to energize and empower staff.

Most recently Lessard served as the director of spa, fitness and retail at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Spa Botanico in Puerto Rico. Agraduate of Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Canada with over 3000 hours of clinical massage training, Lessard has practiced in a variety of environments including holistic health care centers, medical facilities, combined and private practices. His professional studies include craniosacral, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, muscle energy technique, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and exercise rehabilitation, as well as a wide variety of other spa modalities. Lessard has been an educator and director at top facilities including the Wellington Institute of Remedial Massage Therapy in Winnipeg; the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork, the Cortiva Institute in Scottsdale and served as a guest instructor at Frederique Academy / Elemis Spa in Hong Kong.
