Thi Nguyen

Thi Nguyen has been appointed director of sales at Six Senses Con Dao, one of the premier resorts in Vietnam. With more than 18 years of experience in high-end hospitality, she brings extensive knowledge and international experience to this role.

After finishing the bachelor degree in English at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Thi Nguyen became a guest service officer in 1998. Later, she worked at a number of prestigious hospitality brands including Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City, Park Hyatt Saigon, and Vinpearl hotels and resorts. She has further advanced her industry knowledge by studying Hospitality Business Acumen at HSMAI International and attending Hyatt's Advanced Revenue Workshop and Bullet Proof Manager Training at Crestcom International.

Previous roles in her career have always been closely related to sales and marketing within the exclusive world of hospitality. More recently, Thi Nguyen has taken the position director of sales at The Reverie Saigon, one of the Leading Hotels of the World that ranked 4th Best Hotel in the World and Best Hotel in Asia by American magazine Conde Nast Traveler. While there, Thi Nguyen provided leadership in all selling activities within the hotel and worked closely with the Rooms, Food-Beverage and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through activities of the sales department and other employees. She also attended Virtuoso Travel Mart, ILTM (Americas and Asia), Pure Luxury Events, and numerous roadshows to widen her network and open up new business opportunities. Her strength lies in the ability to develop business plans as well as manage sales and marketing budget, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing and owner relations.
