Dan Thorman has been appointed Vice President of Development at Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group, LLC
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants announced today two new additions to their rapidly growing development team, Tiffany Cooper, Senior Vice President of Development and Dan Thorman, Vice President of Development. In their respective positions, Cooper and Thorman will be responsible for the brand's overall growth strategy and the expansion of Kimpton's development pipeline across the Americas. They join a robust team, led by Chief Development Officer Allison Reid. Other recent additions to the development team include Charlotte Giovanni, Vice President of Development and David Ruger, Senior Director of Development. Thorman also hails from Starwood and Marriott, spending 12 years at the company in roles ranging from development operations analyst to Vice President of Development for the Full Service & Luxury Brands in the Eastern U.S. in his new role, Thorman will focus on expanding Kimpton's footprint in the Northeastern US and Canada.
Thorman has a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Lehigh University and resides in Manhattan.
