Dana Baasiri

In her previous position as Public Relations Manager for AIC Hotel Group, Baasiri was instrumental in managing media relations and special events—including product launches, unveilings, grand openings and more, for the group's luxury hotel brands throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Baasiri began her career in the world of fashion public relations, working for coveted women's brand DKNY, followed by a transition into the travel and hospitality niche as a coordinator for Unique Vacations Inc., the worldwide representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts. While there, Baasiri blossomed into a dynamic hospitality public relations specialist, taking the reigns at the the growing AIC Hotel Group and driving brand awareness for the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels and Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, while launching the experiential UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya property and the rebranding of Eden Roc Miami Beach from a PR and social standpoint. Baasiri is also past member of the Communications Council at Forbes, a coveted invitation only organization for communications, public relations, public affairs, and media relations executives, during which she published an original article focusing on the current social media landscape.

Dana Baasiri will work directly with Mr. Maduro in spearheading AIC Hotel Group's public relations and social media initiatives and will be supported by a dedicated team of public relations specialists. Joining Ms. Baasiri is Jenny Palmer, a strong communicator and seasoned public relations professional with more than five years of agency experience, who will serve as public relations and social media senior coordinator for UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya; Bonnie Helena, a travel enthusiast who recently acquired a master's degree in Global Strategic Communications from Florida International University and will be focusing on the PR and social media efforts for the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel properties in Mexico and the Dominican Republic; Noelani Soto, a strong writer and communicator with a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Florida International University, who will guide PR and social media for Eden Roc Miami Beach and Nobu Hotels within the company's portfolio. AIC Hotel Group is exclusively contracted by RCD Hotels to spearhead the sales and marketing efforts for luxury resort properties in Florida, including Eden Roc Miami Beach and Nobu Hotel Miami Beach, as well as throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana (the world's first all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel) in addition to six Mexico properties including Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos (set to open in 2019), Nobu Hotel Los Cabos (set to open in 2018) and UNICO 20˚87˚ Hotel Riviera Maya, the first of a new luxury all-inclusive concept.
