Stephen Batta has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations at MCR
Batta leads the operations for MCR's entire independent full-service hotel portfolio. Previously, Batta served as General Manager of the 1,780-room Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Batta was also the General Manager of the luxury JW Marriott Essex House New York and the Renaissance New York Hotel. A leader in New York City's hotel industry, Batta is the Secretary of the Hotel Association of New York City, where he chairs the finance committee and is a member of the audit and nominating committees. He also serves as a Trustee for the New York Hotel Trades Council & Hotel Association of New York City Inc. Employee Benefit Funds. Batta received a B.S. in Business Marketing from Marist College.
