Dan Kornick

In his new role for Loews Hotels & Co, Kornick has responsibility for all aspects of Information Technology (IT) including strategy, systems development, infrastructure, operations and internal customer support. A digital and global technology leader, Kornick brings more than two decades of experience across multiple industries to the hotel group, with past areas of focus including hospitality and travel, telecommunications, and financial services.

Previously, Kornick was CIO for TracFone Wireless, the largest pre-paid wireless service in the United States. Prior to TracFone, Kornick held positions with Prudential Financial, Wyndham Worldwide Hotel Group, and Cendant's Vacation Rental Group in Europe. Along the way he successfully led multiple business, technology and digital transformations, focusing on the customer and team experience while leveraging investment in technology to achieve overall objectives.

Kornick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science from Pennsylvania State University. He has served on the Board of Governors for Hotel Technology Next Generation and currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Youth Chorus. Komick also received the ComputerWorld Smithsonian Laureate medal in 1999 for innovation and excellence in approach to data warehousing and Internet usage.

A triathlete, avid hockey fan and passionate photographer in his downtime, Kornick, his wife Mary, and their five children, including two sets of twins, reside in New Jersey.
