Kimpton Marlowe is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jamie Mantegazza as Hotel Manager for the award-winning, 236-guestroom hotel located on the banks of the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role as Hotel Manager, Mantegazza will oversee all aspects of the hotel operation including the following guest-facing departments, Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Valet, Property Operations and Maintenance. In addition, she'll be responsible for ensuring that all guests are completely satisfi ed with their hotel stays and developing and supervising programs that promote a positive work environment for all Kimpton Marlowe employees.
Mantegazza has extensive experience working with the Kimpton brand, having most recently served as Director of Housekeeping for Kimpton Marlowe, and supported the openings of the brand's Kimpton Gray Hotel, Chicago, IL; Kimpton Seafire Hotel + Spa, Grand Cayman; and Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel, Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining Kimpton, she worked for Starwoo d's Sheraton Boston Hotel for five years in various operational roles including Assistant Director of Housekeeping, Front Desk Manager, Banquet Manager and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Coordinator. In 2017, the Massachusetts Lodging Association awarded Mantegazza the "Stevan Porter Emerging Hospitality Leader Award." She's a graduate of the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Durham, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management with a focus in International Tourism. Mantegazza resides in Chelsea, MA with her new husband.
