Dan Sellers

HKS announces the return of Dan Sellers, AIA, as Hospitality Design Manager at the firm's Orlando office. Sellers brings over 25 years of experience in design, master planning, programming, management and more. While his primary focus is luxury hospitality and high-profile entertainment, his work has spanned across various industries such as high-end residential, retail, commercial and healthcare.

His robust portfolio includes some of HKS' notable hospitality projects such a as Atlantis Paradise Island, Disney's Boardwalk and Rosewood's Ventanas al Pa radiso, as well as Seuss Landing at Universal's Islands of adventure. He previously held the role as Director of Architecture for Marriot Vacation Club International., working internationally. He was also Senior Development Manager for Tavistock Development Company and Design Manager for Universal Creative, so he brings experience from the owner's side.

"My passion is for resorts and entertainment destinations where the architecture melds with fantastic interiors and lush landscapes," said Sellers, AIA. "Understanding the operational realities, from my experience in the corporate world, allows me to know what it takes to create financially successful hospitality projects that people love."

Dan will play an integral role in the studio by managing projects expertly, mentoring fellow architects and designers to build the hospitality portfolio," said Sergio Saenz, HKS Principal and Director of Hospitality. "He is joining us after an absence from H KS of almost 20 years and we're excited to have him back on the team."
