Danny Pecorelli named Chairman at Master Innholders
Danny Pecorelli FIH MI, managing director at Exclusive Hotels and Venues, has been announced as the new chairman of the Master Innholders.
Announced at the Master Innholders AGM (Thursday 6 September), Pecorelli has taken over from Stuart Bowery FIH MI, general manager at Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel, who steered the group through its 40th anniversary. Pecorelli will be supported by the Master Innholders Executive Committee and newly appointed vice chairman Debbie Taylor FIH MI, Executive Coach and Group Chair Vistage UK. Following training at The Savoy in London and attending Cornell University, Pecorelli spent a year with Sheraton Hotels in the USA before returning to the UK to begin his management roles with Exclusive Hotels. In 1997 Danny became managing director of Exclusive Hotels and Venues, which now employs over 700 people across five hotels.
Talking of his appointment as Chairman, Danny Pecorelli said: "I'm delighted to be able to take the reins from Stuart, who has led us through a very exciting time. It is vital that we continue to celebrate excellence and best practice, so my aim over the next two years as chairman is to take our education and development programmes to the next level through broadening our reach across the industry. Over the last 40 years, we have cemented ourselves as leading hoteliers and I hope to continue to build upon this legacy alongside the Worshipful Company of Innholders and our Executive Committee."The Master Innholders will be exhibiting at the Independent Hotel Show in October and hosting its Hotel General Managers' Conference on 28-29January 2018 at the Intercontinental London - The O2.
