Lance MarrinHyatt Regency Bellevue announced today the appointment of its new General Manager, Lance Marrin, who brings more than 30 years of experience from 13 different Hyatt hotels. In his role, Marrin will oversee all daily activities, including upholding Hyatt's standards for elevated guest satisfaction, managing overall functions of the hotel and guiding the staff to ensure they provide the best experience for guests. Following graduation from Colorado State University, Marrin started working in the hospitality industry at the front desk of a local hotel. He then joined the Hyatt family as a housekeeping supervisor and grew his leadership skills as Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency Denver, Hyatt Regency Houston and Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and Casino, eventually earning a role at Hyatt Hotels Corporation home office where he opened Hyatt Regency Trinidad and Grand Hyatt San Antonio as Director of Rooms - North American Operations. In 2008, Marrin moved into a role as general manager with Hyatt Westlake Plaza, and then then on to Grand Hyatt Dallas Fort Worth and Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Throughout his time serving as general manager, he achieved a variety of accolades, including: "Sales Team of the Year" in 2009, 2012 and 2014 as well as "Catering Team of the Year" in 2010. Additionally, he won the "Rooms Executive of the Year" in 2005 and received a nomination as "General Manager of the Year" in 2010 and 2012. In his role as general manager at Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Marrin will be in charge of balancing extreme satisfaction for Hyatt Regency Bellevue's guests, associates and owners. On a daily basis, he will have a grasp on every aspect of the hotel including visiting the front desk to meet those checking in, stopping by the hotel's restaurant Eques to see what the chefs are cooking, chatting with guests to see if they are enjoying their time and making sure housekeeping is maintaining the cleanliness of every room.
