Louis Gonzalez

Fontainebleau Miami Beach announces the promotion of Louis Gonzalez to Director of Group Sales for the iconic Miami Beach property. In his new role, Gonzalez will expand his leadership role within the group sales team, formulating the overall strategy to ensure success within the hotel's meeting and convention business.

As Director of Group Sales, Gonzalez brings nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the resort. Gonzalez first began working at Fontainebleau Miami Beach in 2009 as Director of National Accounts and was later promoted to Assistant Director of Group Sales in 2013. As Assistant Director of Sales, Gonzales oversaw the New York and New Jersey markets, meeting and exceeding sales goals on a yearly basis, while also supporting and assisting the group sales team.

Prior to Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Gonzalez held sales and convention operation positions at several Florida resorts. As Director of National Accounts at Boca Raton Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, Gonzalez oversaw the New York market and exceeded the yearly sales goal. As Senior Account Executive at Doral Golf Resort & Club, Gonzalez oversaw the northeast market, achieving both room night and ADR goals each year.

Gonzalez has won numerous sales awards throughout his career. A New York native, Gonzalez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
