Rinaldo Fernández

Karisma Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel collection that owns and manages properties in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, promoted Rinaldo Fernández to president of the company's Global Travelers Club division. Fernández brings to the position more than 25 years of experience and a commitment to building upon existing sales and marketing efforts, as well as restructuring and expanding the Exotic and Prestige Travelers clubs.

In his new position, Fernández will continue overseeing the Karisma's Travelers Club division with its two brands: Exotic Travelers, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and Prestige Travelers. He will also lead the aggressive expansion plans for the club, which include all new markets where Karisma Hotels & Resorts is entering, as well as new strategic territories where the club will open as a stand-alone operator.

Before working for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Fernández successfully oversaw international markets in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, South America, Mexico, Europe and the United States for 17 years in Procter & Gamble Company. In 2009, Fernández joined Karisma as the VP of administration, where he was heading the company's corporate offices, as well as the management of the Exotic Travelers Club.

Fernández's knowledge of international business management aided him in making changes at Karisma Hotels & Resorts, including the creation of a corporate human resources department; and the integration of travel clubs as a fundamental pillar of the company. Upon the creation and launch of Prestige Travelers in December 2012, Fernández became SVP for the Travelers Club Division, where he remained for six years. He played a role in the expansion of the Prestige Travelers club on an international level, and doubled business for the Exotic Travelers club.
