Nikita Taylor has been appointed Housekeeping Manager at The InterContinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco
The InterContinental Mark Hopkins is proud to announce Nikita Taylor has been appointed Housekeeping Manager at the historic hotel property located in San Francisco's Nob Hill neighborhood.
Nikita Taylor set out for a career in the hospitality industry when she enrolled in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at University of Nevada Las Vegas. She rounded out her education, which included a minor in business, in Auburn, Alabama at Southern Union State Community College and later Auburn University.
While completing her degree, she worked as an Executive Suite Ambassador for Tigers Unlimited, the fundraising foundation for the Auburn Tigers, and later as a Guest Services Agent for The Hotel at Auburn University.
She remained with the property as Housekeeping Supervisor for the next year before moving to San Francisco where she joined the InterContinental Mark Hopkins team as Front Desk Agent.
Her experience on the housekeeping team in Auburn, in addition to her two years working directly with guests at the Mark Hopkins, made her an ideal candidate for a promotion to Housekeeping Manager.
In her new position she ensures the rooms and public spaces meet the hotel's high standards and continues to work with team members to provide excellent customer service to guests.
