Beth Tufekcic

Kokua Hospitality and Prodigy Network are proud to announce Beth Tufekcic's promotion from General Manager of The Assemblage John Street to Vice President of House Operations for The Assemblage. In her new role, Beth will oversee, stabilize, and ensure consistency across all house operations at the brand's existing locations — The Assemblage NoMad and The Assemblage John Street — along with the brand's third outpost slated to open on Park Avenue South in 2019, applying her signature entrepreneurial spirit and sense of community to the role.

Beth's promotion comes in anticipation of The Assemblage's third coworking location on Park Avenue South, which will open its doors in 2019 near the concept's foundational House in Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood. With Beth's leadership, Assemblage members and hotel guests can expect the brand's signature wellness-oriented values, amenities, and programming to grow and stabilize, fostering a productive space for New York City's mindful community and travelers to "do well by doing good."

Beth joined The Assemblage in 2017, serving as General Manager of The Assemblage John Street throughout a year-long pre-opening phase, effectively assembling a team of driven hospitality professionals, and spearheading initiatives that led to a successful first six months of operation. Prior to joining The Assemblage, Beth held various key leadership roles, including Vice President of Operations for Dream Hotel Group, and General Manager of top properties with branded hotel companies such as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International, and InterContinental Hotel Group, as well as independent luxury hotels, such as The Alex Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. During this time, Beth was recognized as General Manager of the Year, awarded Hotel of the Year by the Cendent Corporation, and presented with numerous distinctions including highest internal audit scores, top performing financial success, and top sales performance.

About The Assemblage

The Assemblage is a mindful community providing coworking, co-living, and social spaces for individuals seeking transformation and interconnection through cultural programming and holistic amenities. The first of the three New York City locations opened in November 2017 in NoMad; the second outpost, a coworking/co-living and social space opened in the Financial District at 17 John Street in May 2018, including 79 hotel rooms; and an additional coworking location on Park Avenue South is slated for 2019. The Assemblage was founded by Rodrigo Niño, CEO of Prodigy Network, with the goal to transition from a society defined by individualism and separation into one of interconnectedness. The Assemblage was crowdfunded by individual backers around the world. So far, Prodigy Network has raised $165M for the three spaces.
