Nathan Decker

Nanuku, Auberge Resorts Collection, the quintessential South Pacific paradise set along the adventurous coastline of Fiji's main island of Viti Levu, adds yet another leader to its distinguished hospitality team with the appointment of Nathan Decker as the first U.S.-based Director of Sales for the resort. A sanctuary for discovery, the all-villa boutique resort welcomes Decker's energy and drive as he attracts leisure and group travelers to the destination and its unique outdoor exploits in the backdrop of Fiji's lush tropical landscape. Nathan's addition marks an exciting time for the property as it unveils 13 brand new contemporary Auberge Beach Villas next month.

A West Coast native who received his bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from California State Polytechnic University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon, Decker began his career as Director of National Accounts at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui in 2003. With eight years of veteran hospitality experience, Decker rose to the position of Director of Sales for Starwood Resorts of Maui and later, The St. Regis Princeville in Kauai. Most recently, he far exceeded sales quotas for two consecutive years as Director of Sales for The Resort at Paws Up in Montana.

In his new role, Decker oversees all aspects of the resort's sales and marketing from Los Angeles, California, where he is based. An avid outdoorsman who enjoys trail running, mountain biking, stand-up paddling, scuba diving, surfing, and snowboarding, Decker is a natural fit for Nanuku, whose one-of-a-kind outdoor programming such as Olympic-inspired rugby training, shark diving, waterfall hiking, and indigenous hunting makes it a standout Pacific destination for adventure-seeking travelers around the world.
