Steven Adyani

Alvin Mansour's Oram Hotels and Azul Hospitality Group have announced the appointment of Steven Adyani as general manager of The Guild, a 162-room Marriott Tribute Portfolio property set to debut in spring 2019. The Guild, housed in the historic Army-Navy landmark building in the city's downtown core, will be reimagined into a creative, design-forward destination, courtesy of Sormeh Rienne design, that will pay homage to the property's iconic history and its deep San Diego roots while simultaneously bringing forth a fresh, inspired take on contemporary hospitality unlike anything else in the city.

Adyani is an accomplished hotelier and restaurateur, best known for leading celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's US operations and for his innovative work for Steve Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas. As Vice President of Operations for Chef Ramsay, he designed and opened the highly anticipated Hell's Kitchen Restaurant (Las Vegas), Gordon Ramsay Burger (Las Vegas), Gordon Ramsay Steak (Baltimore) and Gordon Ramsay Steak (Atlantic City). Additionally, he was a part of Ramsay's FOX primetime productions of "The F Word" and "24 Hours to Hell & Back" TV shows. In his previous role as General Manager at Wynn and Encore, Las Vegas, Adyani attained Forbes Five Star accolades four years in a row and earlier in his career, as Vice President of Compass Group, Adyani re-concepted and opened James Beard award recipient and Michelin Star winning Spiaggia Café by Chef Tony Mantuano.
