Olivier Chavy

Wyndham Destinations (NYSE: WYND), the world's largest vacation ownership and exchange company, has announced the appointment of Olivier Chavy as President, RCI® Exchanges. Most recently serving as CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Chavy brings 30 years of international hospitality experience and executive leadership roles spanning luxury hotel and timeshare resort operations to global interior design.

Under Chavy's leadership, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts experienced an era of unprecedented expansion through new resort openings, pipeline development and portfolio growth of more than 40 percent. The revitalization of the upscale Swiss hotel management company thrived with Chavy's appointment of millennial leaders to guide the repositioning and reinvention of the guest experience. Prior to Mövenpick, he served as President and CEO of international interior design firm Wilson Associates. Chavy's aptitude for brand development, innovative design, and client engagement fueled the global growth of the business and its transformation to a Public Chinese Company that listed on the Shanghai Stock Market in 2015. His extensive hospitality career also includes executive roles with Hilton, where he served as Senior Vice President, Resort Operations for Hilton Grand Vacations, overseeing the operation of 52 vacation ownership resorts in the portfolio while also serving as Area Vice President Hotel Operations for all Hilton brands in the Southeast region. He was then appointed International Head of Luxury & Lifestyle Brand Performance for Hilton, where he led global teams through the expansion of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad brands, including 22 major property openings worldwide. Chavy also served as General Manager of renowned luxury hotels including Hilton Arc de Triomphe Paris, France and Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, Mauritius Island.

A native of France, Chavy earned an MBA from Cornell University, a post-graduate diploma from Europe's prestigious ESSEC Business School, and a BA in Hotel Management from St. Quentin en Yvelines Hotel Management School, France. He serves on numerous advisory boards including the French Foreign Trade Advisory Board — CCEF, The University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and Philip Stein Teslar, "Live in Tune."
