Georgia Lobban has been appointed Senior Director of Sales at Sonesta International Hotels Corporation
Sonesta International Hotels Corporation today announced the appointment of Georgia Lobban as Senior Director, Global Sales. In this role, Lobban will directly manage the global sales team and oversee efforts to improve impact and delivery of Sonesta's growing portfolio of hotels. She will report directly to Blair McSheffrey, Vice President of Global and Hotel Sales. Lobban has been overseeing Global Sales efforts for Sonesta on an interim basis and will now bring her industry expertise in global sales organizations, sales processes and B2B sales teams to the brand full time. An accomplished hotel sales leader and strategic sales consultant, she brings to Sonesta over 20+ years of experience in property and B2B sales. Prior to her time at Sonesta, she managed her own firm for ten years optimizing several large and small sales organizations, in addition to building sales infrastructure for IHG and implementing IHG's Groups and Meetings sales proposition for their portfolio of brands. As her first major initiative with Sonesta, she will spearhead the development of a "Fit 4 Sonesta" B2B sales organization, improving incremental impact, hotel collaboration and instituting a vertical account management structure. Lobban will be working remotely from Charlotte, NC where she lives with her daughter. In her spare time she advocates for diversity and inclusion in children's literature and toys - through a multicultural organization she founded a few years ago called Little Proud Kid.
