Maggie Rosa

It was announced today that Maggie Rosa, a local industry veteran with 20 years of hospitality experience, will continue in her role at the helm of Downtown Houston's most exciting hotel transformation as general manager of C. Baldwin, Curio Collection by Hilton. The game-changing project anchors The Allen Center, a premier mixed-use development at the western gateway to Downtown and at the axis of Midtown and Buffalo Bayou Park. Christopher Baran will oversee the hotel's sales and marketing efforts as director of sales & marketing. Launching this summer, this reimagined hotel will not only change its looks, but also its name - from DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Downtown to C. Baldwin, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Prior to joining The DoubleTree, Rosa served as General Manager for the Hilton Houston Galleria Area, where she oversaw an $11-million renovation and the conversion of the property from its former branding as the Hotel Hilton Houston-Southwest. Before that, she was the assistant general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Greenway Plaza and also part of a transition and renovation team for the former Renaissance Houston Greenway Plaza. Rosa began her career with Marriott Hotels & Resorts in Arizona while pursuing her undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University and progressed to management at the Marco Island Resort and Golf Club in Florida. She also held several key executive management positions at the Marina del Rey Marriott in the Los Angeles area as well as Pasadena, CA and Redmond, WA.
