Marty Miles

Marty Miles has been promoted to Complex General Manager overseeing Hotel Galvez & Spa® and The Tremont House, both Wyndham Grand® Hotels, and Harbor House Hotel & Marina at Pier 21. Miles has served as hotel manager of The Tremont House and complex food and beverage director since November 2009.

Under his leadership, The Tremont House received the "Best of Wyndham Grand" award from Wyndham Hotel Group in 2016, 2017, and 2018 and "Quality of the Year" award for Wyndham Grand Hotels and Resorts Managed Hotels in 2016. The Tremont House typically ranks as the top rated TripAdvisor hotel in Galveston.

Prior to joining the staff in Galveston, he was the founder and president of Casino Food and Beverage Solutions LLC, a Las Vegas firm that offers consulting services to casinos, resorts, hotels, restaurants, lounges and convention centers.

Earlier, he led the corporate food and beverage services of Harrah's Entertainment Inc., where he created a recruiting system targeting the nation's top culinary schools. As a result of his efforts, the company improved the talent and strength of its culinary and restaurant management teams. Miles has also held senior corporate food and beverage positions at Patriot American Hospitality, Richfield Hospitality Services and Doubletree Hotels & Resorts. He holds two professional designations, the Certified Hotel Administration and Certified Food and Beverage Executive.

Miles is on the board of the Galveston Restaurant Association and served as president in 2015 and 2016. He served as director of the Texas Restaurant Association from 2015 to 2018 and has been chairman of the Galveston College Culinary Department Advisory Board since 2015. He and his wife Nini Miles live on Tiki Island with their two dogs.
