Pierre Davis

Dream Hotel Group announces the appointment of Vaughn Pierre Davis as general manager of Dream Hollywood. Davis launched his hospitality career nearly a decade ago in New York City where he began as a guest attendant at Gansevoort Meatpacking. From there, he served as the director of guest services at Dream Downtown for four years before taking on a prominent hotel management position with Joie de Vivre to launch its very first hotel in New York City at 50 Bowery.

Davis saw great opportunity with Dream Hollywood's luxurious room product, stellar service and renowned food and beverage operators, prompting his recent move from New York City to Los Angeles to join the team just in time for summer, as the hotel celebrates its two-year anniversary.

A specialized lifestyle hotel operator with experience in results-driven partnerships and programming, Davis is credited with creating the first Sneaker Concierge program at Dream Downtown's GuestHouse Suite. This program created an experience where guests received a pair of sneakers curated uniquely for them by resident 'Sneakerologist,' Davis himself. Seeing firsthand the interest, demand and story-telling opportunities this impactful partnership attracted, during his time at 50 Bowery Davis he spearheaded equally successful partnerships with brands including WHITE FOX Electric Scooters, food delivery service Caviar and Uber.

Since arriving at Dream Hollywood, Davis has hit the ground running and is currently developing similar programs to elevate the guest experience. From activating the pool and public spaces, to introducing partnerships in the tech, wellness and culinary fields, Davis' vision will further establish the hotel as a hub for both locals and guests in Hollywood.

Coming from an international background, Davis grew up in Georgetown, Guyana and, later, Queens, New York. Currently, he resides in his new city of Los Angeles with his wife, Ashley, and four children, Vaughn, Kylie, Hallie and Ellie. When not leading the charge at Dream Hollywood, Davis can be found coaching his son's football team, participating in philanthropic events, attending sporting events, driving off-road, and, like a true Los Angeles transplant, enjoying an In-N-Out Burger.
