Rachel Mecca

Hard Rock International is adding to its stellar executive team, announcing the appointment of Rachel Mecca as director of global travel industry sales in the global sales and marketing department.

In her new role, Mecca will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives for Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. Her team will create and maintain relationships with travel industry clients to help properties meet their sales and revenue goals. Ensuring maximum engagement, Mecca will lead business developments focused on creating partnerships with key global travel industry accounts.

With more than 19 years of experience in the industry, Mecca has a proven record of sales successes across multiple luxury resorts, hotels and casinos. She is an opening and re-branding specialist who consistently exceeds revenue expectations. In her previous position, Mecca was the regional director of sales and marketing for Aimbridge Hospitality, one of the largest hotel management companies in the U.S. located in Dallas, Texas. There she led all sales and marketing initiatives for its Caribbean portfolio.

Mecca is a driven trailblazer in the sales and marketing world. Prior to leading at Aimbridge, she was national sales director at Denihan Hospitality Group in New York City, where she promoted 13 properties across five dynamic brands. Mecca also led the sales and marketing efforts for notable brands including, Caesars Entertainment and Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where here she exceeded revenue goals by 125 percent every quarter and was awarded Sales Advocate of the year.

Mecca is bilingual in Spanish and has a bachelor's in communications from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is a board member on the Florida Business Travel Association, a fundraising board member for Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital and a member of Hotel Sales & Marketing International, the Society of Incentive Travel Excellence and the Association of Corporate Travel Executives.
