Sonesta has announced Jessica Nugent as the General Manager of Sonesta ES Suites Charlotte, NC. In this role, Nugent will be tasked with overseeing the daily operational activities of the property and its staff. Working across teams, Nugent will be instrumental in maintaining employee engagement, driving revenue and profitability and ensuring that Sonesta ES Suites Charlotte, NC provides guests with more than just a place to stay.
Nugent has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as General Manager of the Hyatt Place in Charlotte, NC. Nugent oversaw daily operations, developed and implemented budgets, managed sales performance and worked with the corporate HR team to train new GM's at other properties. Prior to her role as GM she served as the Assistant General Manager for Hyatt Place in Charlotte and Atlanta. Nugent is originally from Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University.
