Dant Hirsch

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is pleased to announce the appointment of Dant Hirsch as General Manager of Six Senses New York, the group's first North American property which is currently under development and scheduled to open in 2020

Dant brings more than 16 years of top level international hotel experience, joining Six Senses from his most recent role as General Manager at The Dominick New York, where he led his team to attain the prestigious AAA 5-Diamond rating. Before this, Dant was a regional General Manager at COMO Hotels & Resorts in the Americas, where he oversaw all developmental initiatives and renovations.

Previous positions include General Manager at the Faena Miami Beach where he achieved the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating in the opening year, and roles at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Florida and The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, including the openings of The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte and the St. Regis flagship Florida hotel. Before this, Dant worked as General Manger at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort in Parksville, British Columbia.

Dant graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. During his university years, he developed his love for fitness, playing ice hockey at competitive levels and winning three ACHA National Championships. He later completed the General Manager's Programme at Cornell University.
