Assia Rahhaoui

A French national, Rahhaoui has more than seven years of experience in the hospitality industry. She started her career in 2012 with the Marriott Hotel Paris Champs-Élysées, France as the sales and marketing executive.
Prior to joining Meliã Desert Palm Dubai, Rahhaoui was hotel operations mManager for The Act Hotel & 72 Hotel, UAE. She has also worked with The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel as their pre-opening guest experience manager and PR and business development manager.

Ernesto Osuna - General Manager

4 March 2020 — Spanish-born Ernesto Osuna has taken charge of the opening of the 159-room and 31-suite luxury resort overlooking Choeng Mon Beach, on Koh Samui's north-eastern coastline in the Gulf of Thailand. Mr Osuna has worked for Meliá Hotels International for seven years and was previously a cluster general manager for two Meliá properties in Zhengzhou, China; Gran Melia Zhengzhou and INNSIDE Zhengzhou.

Santiago Rivera - Area Managing Director

19 February 2020 — Meliá Hotels International (MHI) is proud to announce the appointment of Santiago Rivera as the Area Managing Director for MHI hotels in the Dominican Republic. In his new role Rivera not only leads the resorts in the Dominican Republic, but also other Meliá businesses such as the casinos, golf and club operations.
