Graeme Ure

Graeme Ure started his international career in the food and beverage industry. Working in the Middle East, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and South East Asia, he has earned an excellent reputation as a highly respected and professional business leader.

In 2013, Graeme joined Anantara as F&B Executive Assistant Manager at Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort. After this successful assignment, he moved to Sri Lanka where he joined the task force team for the pre-opening of Anantara Kalutara Resort. Following his time in Sri Lanka, Graeme assumed the role of Executive Assistant Manager at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. In 2018, Graeme relocated to Thailand where he undertook the role of Resident Manager at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. His outstanding performance and dedication during his tenure led him to his well-deserved promotion to General Manager at Anantara Hua Hin Resort.

Siraj Memon - Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing

23 September 2020 — Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas has announced the promotion of Siraj Memon to cluster director of sales & marketing in Oman following several years of success with the brand. Previously the director of sales at Al Baleed Resort Salalah, Memon will now also oversee things at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

Rachid Bakas - Resort Manager

30 June 2020 — Bakas will utilise his more than 16 years of experience to lead the teams across three Anantara Resorts on the island. Bakas joined Anantara Sir Bani Yas Resorts in April 2014 as a front office manager.

Mohammed Wazir - General Manager

14 January 2020 — Holding more than 15 years of hospitality experience, Wazir entered the industry as a guest relations manager of Millennium Mayfair. He then was made room division manager before working with Corinthia Hotels for more than five years.
