Prior to employment at SANGHA Retreat, Eddy was Vice President Hotel Operations at Imperial Pacific International Holdings Limited. His promotion from General Manager of SANGHA Retreat to Managing Director involves overseeing AT ONE Suites, AT ONE Villas, THOUGHT FOR FOOD Restaurant, and The VILLAGE, a live-work-learn community with spaces for communal learning, executive retreats, conferences summits and festivals including THOUGHT FOR FOOD Market, THE SANCTUARY meditative space, FELLOW TRAVELLER group learning space, and SANGHA Residence apartment suites.
Eddy brings more than 28 years of international experience in the hospitality, aviation, wellness, and entertainment industries, having worked in Singapore, Malaysia, the Maldives, Cambodia, Spain, France, Indonesia, Thailand, and now China. His expertise includes business development, operations and financials for million-dollar organizations as well as leading multiple successful international openings for hospitality brands. He has held positions as Chief Operating Officer at GWH-Mayar Group; Assistant Vice President and Food & Beverage Manager at Resorts World Genting; Director of Food & Beverage at Island Hideaway Spa Resort & Marina; Commercial Director at First Cambodia Airlines; Director of Sales & Marketing cum Director of Food & Beverage at Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh; Beverage Manager at Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh; and Restaurant Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Millennia, Singapore.
Eddy graduated from Cornell University majoring in Strategic Hospitality Management and Finance Management.
