Hazem Aouad has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai
The Lebanese national will be lead the growth of the 396-key property with a steady focus on corporate business and strengthening leisure partnerships, as well as a strategic approach on meeting and events.
Aouad has 20 years of hospitality experience, acquired from five-star luxury resorts to city properties across the Middle East. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Hotel & Tourism Management from the Notre Dame University in Lebanon and a Postgraduate Diploma at University Cesar Ritz, Brig, Switzerland.
He kicked off his career in Lebanon as a food and beverage supervisor and worked his way up, developing key negotiation and skills which landed his niche in the industry through sales. In his spare time, Hazem enjoys riding motorbikes and outdoor sporting activities.
