Stephan Williams

The DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront has announced the appointment of Stephan Williams as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the property. In his new position, Williams will execute all sales and marketing strategies for group and leisure markets; developing new programs to maximize opportunities and exceed revenue goals; and oversee the performance management, coaching, recruiting and selection of the marketing and sales team.

"Stephan is a very motivated industry veteran and we're happy to have him on our executive team," said property General Manager Mich ael Frits. "His extensive experience in leisure and group hospitality sales is a tremendous asset and will enable Stephan to make an immediate impact on our marketing efforts."

A 20-year veteran of the hospitality and tourism industry, Williams was most recently Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Charlotte Executive Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he fine-tuned his exceptional leadership, organizational and problem resolution skills. His distinguished career also includes positions as Director of Sales and Marketing at Hilton Oceanfront Resort Hilton Head Island in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Hilton Wilmington Riverside and Riverview Suites in Wilmington, North Carolina; Marriott Hotel in Columbia, South Carolina; and Doubletree Guest Suites in Boston, Massachusetts.
