Sileshi Mengiste has been appointed Managing Director at The Estate Yountville
With many years of professional experience, Mengiste most recently served as Associate Senior Vice President for Remington Hotels. During his time with the company, he developed a tactical plan for each property in the collection to ensure the highest possible net operating income and implemented an effective recruiting system that led to an unprecedented growth of strong brand talent. Prior to this role, Mengiste served as the Divisional Vice President of Remington Hotels where he was responsible for the overall performance of twelve hotels and resorts in Florida, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Texas, Louisiana, California, and New York. He's also served as the Executive Director of Hotel Operations at Wynn Las Vegas where he created and maintained service standards, policies, and procedures for the casino resort. He also determined and specified its operating equipment and established collateral materials and internal forms.
