Natalie Wise

As part of the leadership team who assisted in the opening of The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami, Wise looks forward to returning to the recently redesigned property in a full-time capacity. Wise brings her experienced skills in leadership development, strategic business planning to further support the property's rooms division, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, retail operations, poolside and recreation operations and Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment programming. Wise joins the Coconut Grove team with over 20 years of experience with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and over 14 years of experience as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division at both city and resort hotels. She was most recently at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, a Five-Diamond Resort with 463 guest rooms.

Born and raised in Australia, Wise studied Tourism and Hospitality in Townsville before beginning her career working with Starwood Hotels at the Sheraton Brisbane. She moved to America in June 1999 after accepting a position at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco as Assistant Front Office Manager, a move which launched her twenty-year tenure with the company to date. After a couple years in California, Wise relocated to The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix where she spent the next decade serving in a multitude of positions including Director of Guest Services, Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Director of Rooms Division and finally, Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms Division at the property. In Phoenix, Wise improved the hotel cleanliness score by 15% while drove top line revenue from business guests, meetings, sports groups, and more. In 2012, Wise joined the team at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, a unique opportunity to provide guests a luxury experience on 53 acres while encouraging the opportunity to experience the local cruises, Hawaiian culture and beauty of Maui.

A proven and self-motivated leader who has been successful in growing engagement and financial results, Wise has demonstrated expertise in the areas of moving performance levels from red zone hotels to green zone in guest and employee engagement, managing unionized bargaining unit, delivering top line revenue, and growing profit margins through a strategic and balanced approach. She has a strong focus on management execution and passion to develop leadership and employees while building strong relationships within the hotel and brand.

Wise enjoys spending time outdoors at sporting events and supporting the local community with her husband and three daughters. Having spent the majority of her childhood enjoying the magnificence of the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef, she looks forward to sharing with her daughters a similar sunny experience exploring the beauty of South Florida.
