In his new role, Vallee will be responsible for leading the sales & marketing teams to drive performance and deliver exceptional results across the seven hotels of IHG in the country.
A seasoned professional, he brings with him more than 20 years of experience in commercial roles within the hospitality industry and in leading diverse teams within sales & marketing along multi-cultural environments.
He joined IHG from DAMAC Hotels & Resorts as vice president for sales & marketing distribution.
Prior to that, he was the regional director of sales & marketing for Fairmont Raffles Swisshotels overseeing Africa, Middle East and India and area sales director for Sofitel Dubai Downtown and Sofitel Moyen-Orient & Egypt. Vallee is familiar with the Middle East market as he spent more than 10 years in the region within the same capacity.

8 July 2020 — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world's leading hotel companies, has today announced the appointment of Wayne Hoare as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Wayne will join the business on 14 September and will become a member of IHG's Executive Committee, replacing Ranjay Radhakrishnan who stepped down from the role in February this year.
7 July 2020 — Marc Lorés Panadés recently come on board at Six Senses Douro Valley as the resort's executive chef. He joins from his previous four-year stint as executive chef and food and beverage director at the acclaimed Alila Hotel in Bali, renowned for healthy, plant based forward cuisine and zero waste.
8 June 2020 — Loughlin began her sales and marketing career in 2002 at London's Grosvenor House before moving on to join Design Hotels, and spearheading the field team of prestigious hotels including Sofitel London St James, InterContinental, and Anantara Angkor Resort & Spa.
