Aldert van Zyl

Van Zyl joined the Radisson Hotel Group family in 2014 as director of F&B and since then has held numerous positions within the company.

Prior to his most recent posting, he worked as the executive assistant manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, where he was responsible for all operational departments of the hotel.

van Zyl, a graduate of the Radisson Hotel Group's Mentor Mentee programme, chooses to work for Radisson Hotel Group because the company allows him to be himself. He will work hard to empower his team to put their own spin on service, and as such, create unique personalised experiences.

His service philosophy is based on getting to know guests and allowing them to get to know the staff, as he believes this makes them feel at home.
