With over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry including his international work in Russia, China, Indonesia and Korea, Masi joins Remington Hotels from Schulte Hospitality Group where he served as Vice President of Operations, assuming responsibility for over 81 hotels, 7,500 rooms and 4,000 associates. Prior to his role at Schulte Hospitality Group, Masi was the Vice President of Operations for TPG Hotels & Resorts following his time at Interstate Hotels & Resorts where he held numerous leadership roles over 26 years including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Special Projects. Additional experience includes various management positions for InterContinental Hotels Group and JW Marriott.
Masi earned his undergraduate degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University. As the Senior Vice President of Operations at Remington Hotels, Masi will be responsible for overseeing hotel performance with a focus on projects including operational plans for new hotel openings and conversions, interim hotel management and execution of group led initiatives. 12 June 2020 — Remington Hotels announced today the appointment of Don Falgoust as Vice President of Food & Beverage Strategy Execution, who will lead all F&B initiatives for Remington Hotels' 87 properties.
Bringing close to 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the role, Falgoust will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, guidance and direction for all new and existing concepts and initiatives, collaborating with the Remington Hotels development team and hotel owners on F&B ideation and operations for new build and conversion hotels and working alongside operations and sales leaders to ensure the highest standards and efficiency for all F&B outlets, catering and banquets.
