Gina Genna

InterContinental Miami, the Iconic Downtown property, is proud to announce the appointment of Gina Genna as director of marketing. In her new role, Genna will oversee the hotel's brand, marketing, and communication strategy, working closely with the hotel's director of sales and marketing to ensure that InterContinental Miami maintains its competitive positioning in the South Florida market.

With over 15 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry, Genna brings extensive advertising,PR, marketing and digital knowledge in the luxury hotel space. She is a passionate marketer and professional creative strategist who has worked with internationally-recognized brands such as the Hilton Hotels and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Throughout her career, she has managed a number of key 360-degree marketing campaigns and partnerships, as well as successfully opening the first-ever casino and Hilton Hotel in Bimini, Bahamas.

Most recently, Genna served as Director of Marketing at Elegant Hotels Group in Fort Lauderdale since 2016. In this role, she strategically developed and successfully executed marketing activations for nine award-winning luxury resorts in the Island of Barbados, St Lucia & Antigua. Prior to her role at Elegant Hotels Group, she served as the Director of Advertising for Resorts World Bimini, where she implemented multi-million-dollar media budgets marketing campaigns for the resort.

Throughout her career, Genna has received numerous accolades and recognition, including AddyAward distinctions such as the Best of Direct Media Campaign and the Leader of the Pack - President's Award. Genna plans to bring the same drive, ambition, and leadership qualities to her new role at InterContinental Miami.
