Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is pleased to announce the appointment of Carla Puverel as the new general manager of the stunning twin island resort featuring 151 luxury beach and over water villas. The property is part of Conrad Hotels & Resorts, one of Hilton's (NYSE:HLT) global luxury hotel brands. Carla most recently served as general manager of the Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort in Sri Lanka.
With a career spanning over 18 years, Carla has an extensive hospitality management experience with various luxury hospitality brands. She carved a niche for herself in resort operations from her time at Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa in Knysna, South Africa to working with various resort groups in different geographies ranging from the United States to the Middle East and South East Asia.
She took her first hotel leadership position in 2011 as Resort Manager at Naladhu Resort Maldives where she oversaw the overall operations and managed the Naladhu Private Island. She moved to Phuket two years later to lead the pre-opening team at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort before she relocated to Koh Phangan in 2017 as General Manager of the Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas.

14 October 2020 — Krk island born Deni Srdoč is set to join Hilton Rijeka Costabella Beach Resort & Spa as Head Chef for the resort's Nebo Restaurant & Lounge.
Srdoč, aged 28, owes his love and passion for cooking to his grandmother, who inspired his career path and the decision to enroll in the private Culinary Institute Oliva Allegra in Split, Croatia.
13 October 2020 — As Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Fuentes will lead Hilton's people and culture strategy - a critical function in a business of people serving people. Fuentes has been with the company for seven years, most recently as Chief Talent Officer, where she led many of Hilton's award-winning programs including recognition, compensation, benefits and diversity.
13 October 2020 — As Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Schuyler will be responsible for coordinating global business performance against many of Hilton's key strategic priorities. His organization will include leadership of global, cross-business functions including Hilton Supply Management, Workplace Facilities, and the Communications and External Affairs function, including communications, government affairs, and corporate responsibility.
