New management at IntercityHotel: Petra Bantle, will move to the IntercityHotel Dortmund in order to guide the hotel through its pre-opening phase and to take on the role of General Manager.

Petra Bantle has her own prior experience with the Deutsche Hospitality brand portfolio. After vocational education and training in the occupation of hotel specialist at the Steigenberger Hotel Freudenstadt, Ms. Bantle held a range of different positions at the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Homburg, the Steigenberger Hotel Dortmund, the Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz and the IntercityHotel Ulm before being named Director of the IntercityHotel Kassel in 2014.

12 February 2021 — Thomas Nixdorf, General Manager of the IntercityHotel Hanover Hauptbahnhof Ost, has also assumed an additional responsibility at the helm of the IntercityHotel Hanover. Lisa Edelmann, who has managed the hotel since 2019 and joined IntercityHotel GmbH in 2012, is now leaving the company at her own request.

12 February 2021 — Christopher Neuner's most recent position saw him exercise a dual function as Head of Reception and Deputy General Manager at the IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd, which boasts 414 rooms and is the largest hotel operated by the brand.

Stefan Marczinkowski - General Manager

12 February 2021 — Following a stint of more than three years as General Manager of the IntercityHotel Nuremberg, Stefan Marczinkowski will officially take up the reins at the IntercityHotel Darmstadt with effect from 1 March 2021 after having already led the hotel on an interim basis since September 2020.
