Monica Zanotti

Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection, the award-winning Napa Valley resort, today announced the appointment of Monica Zanotti as Wine Curator. Zanotti brings fifteen years of wine service expertise at luxury hotels and restaurants as well as sales and retail experience. In this role, Zanotti is responsible for Solage's wine program, infusing discovery and approachability into the wine experience, with an uncompromising focus on building relationships with local and international vintners. Her extensive knowledge and passion for wine education brings an innovative and curious energy that will guide the resort into a new era, as it unveils an expansion at Solbar, the resort's world-class signature restaurant, and introduces the new poolside dining destination, PicoBar.

Zanotti joins Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection from Meadowood Napa Valley, a Relais & Chateaux property, where she created an extensive education program, maintained the extensive wine lists and worked with the events teams on pairing menus. Her career started in sales and marketing before transitioning into hospitality through a five-year position as Wine Director at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, CA, where she developed and maintained the property's Wine Spectator "Grand Award" wine list. Zanotti has been distinguished with several Sommelier certifications by the Court of Master Sommeliers and has a passion to highlight hometown Napa and far-off vines alike to feature a wine collection that is fresh and interesting.

Zanotti grew up in Orange County, where passion for wine was ignited at her family owned wine store. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University. In her free time, Zanotti enjoys exploring the Napa Valley through the abundance of outdoor activities, as well as photography and astrophotography.
